Getting Outside More

Many of us make resolutions at the beginning of the year. Many times, we make them with the best intentions. Sometimes we follow through with some of them, and sometimes we don’t. Other times we generate this entirely too long of a list and end up only crossing off one or two items.

But, then spring rolls around. The weather starts to turn nice, well nicer in most cases. We start to feel inspired to glance back at this list of resolutions that we penned a few months back. Are these resolutions worth attempting again? Or should we just move onward and upward?

I know that many times… far too many times, my yearly resolution involves going to the gym more or at least getting outside more often. That being said, I think it’s time we all get outside more often. So how about it?

A simple walk through a local park? A stroll along the shore or about the lake? Feeling a bit more adventurous? Maybe some hiking or cycling? One thing is for sure, as the weather gets warmer, it’s time to get outside and enjoy everything that Mother Nature is showing off for us. From blooming flowers to blossoming trees, it’s a colorful landscape out there, and we need to enjoy it!
